Meet Jaimal (J) and Krina Patel, the Charlotte-based renovation duo better known as QC Flippers.
Having both grown up in Charlotte, they both know the area and the potential within the Charlotte real estate market. QC Flippers is a house buying company that offers cash for properties in Charlotte, North Carolina. QC Flippers buys houses in cash, and require no loans or approval from financial institutions.
How long have you been in business here in Charlotte?
About 2 years ago, which isn't actually a lot of time. We started right as the pandemic was setting in everywhere.
What/who makes up your team?
Myself (J), my sister Krina, and our project manager, Mandy.
What inspires you?
Flexibility and community involvement. Being a native to Charlotte and being able to put our mark on neighborhoods we grew up around and ability to NOT tear down old houses.
What's a favorite project of yours?
Applegate, which sold in November of last year.
What are some of the biggest challenges in building these days?
Materials and, at times, labor. Inventory affects us all.
What are you hoping for in the future for Charlotte development?
Focus on Charlotte's east side, would like to see and contribute to Eastway becoming more established.
Is there anything you haven’t done yet which you feel compelled to do?
More development in and around Charlotte, bigger projects like townhomes or even multifamily.
How do you balance your personal and professional life?
(Chuckles quietly) I don't... It's all work, all the time - but it's work worth doing.
